Hydrosols are steam distillates that are made using the same process as essential oils. I make them and include all of the oils so they include both water and fat soluble elements. They retain the aroma of the plant and are an excellent addition to your skin care routine. The PH of hydrosols are slightly acidic and perfect for an after shower or bath skin care. Hydrosols are safer then essential oils and can be used to dilute essential oils in blends that can be used for emotional and physical care.
Hydrosols are a wonderful way to nourish the skin and some can be ingested as a tonic. St. John’s Wort hydrosol is wild crafted on our farm in Canada and Florida. The hydrosol has a light herbal fragrance and can be used internally and externally.
St. John’s Wort hydrosol can be added to tea, food, or smoothies to get the benefits. Using hydrosols is a great way to ensure you are getting the benefits of the plant captured and preserved at it’s peak.
Intended for internal and external use. Not to be used if you are pregnant, nursing, or on any medications as it may interfere with their effectiveness. It can also make sensitivity to the sun.
